will I be seasick on Windstar?

I am considering my first cruise to be on Windstar, but I am wondering if it would be better for me to go on a larger cruise ship. I've never been before. I've been seasick though on catamarans and sailboats - no fun. We are in our late 20s - will any other travelers be our age? Thank you for any advice.

Julia- first have y our doc give you a perscription for ANTIVERT- it prevents any seasickness (much better than patch-which can cause nausea and bands around wrist)--I use it all the time.
You will love the Windstar-only 120 passengers. But if you are looking for a lot of nitelife, there isn't an large amount-just a combo in the lounge and a small casino--it's really more of a romantic cruise that has ideal water sports off the backend-ie.kayaks,windsurf,water skiing. We took the Windsurf from Rome to Nice in May (it hold 300 pass.) and we loved it-the average age on our ship was 35 to 55. Most of the travellers on these ships are well travelled and have done the large cruise deal many times before--If you're looking for lots of nitelife and a party atmosphere, this is NOT the cruise for you...however,if you want romance and want to feel like you're on your own yacht with great food, going into smaller ports than the large ships can do-then by all means,go on the Windstar. If it's in the Caribbean, you will hit some small out of the way ports that you'll never see from a large cruise ship.
Hi Julia,

I do not find these masted sailing vessels any less stable than the large cruise ships.

The draft is deeper and the stabilizers are efficient. These are not sailboats or catamarans.

If you do run into a storm you will find rocking on any ship. Bring meds.

Paul
