If $800.00 = 20% does it mean cruise cost was $4000.00 p/p?
If i paid $4000.00 p/p per cruise i wouldn't care extra cost, would I?

We usually ask for iced tea with our meals at lunch and dinner and these are free. We will have a cocktail in one of the lounges before dinner, there are drink specials every day and these are less expensive. Don't bother with the expensive pictures taken by th ship photographer. You'll probably never look at them once you get home. Bring some snacks from home for excursions off the ship, eg trail mix, nuts, snack size bags of chips,or cans of pringles. Have fun!

Ziana: The opposite, I'd say. When you pay $4,000 for an experience, you should be able to expect it to be ALL inclusive, not spend that amount and then have to ante up even more.

Just because some folks are willing to break the bank for an exceptional experience....doesn't mean that lil piggy bank isn't carefully fed and watched! LOL.

Don't forget that if you bring your own alcohol on board they will charge you a cork fee to open the bottle, which I think is around $15.

ha ha that is good. I never travel without a corkscrew and bottle opener. If one is creative it is easy to get the booze on board and avoid the high prices of the ship.

Bottled water ranges from $2 - $4.
I usually bring a case on board since
I normally arrive in my departure
destination the day ahead. On a seven
day Caribbean or Mexican cruise,
two people will easily go through a
case of water. I scan my cruise line
luggage tag, get a box at one of the
office supply stores and tape the scanned luggage tag ( if I don't have
enough from the cruise line ), add an
address label and save myself money
better spent on something else.

Internet access is not included on most cruise lines though most have internet areas. If you plan to be online a lot, it is better to purchase a prepaid amount which is less expensive than the $.50/minute some lines charge. Some
ships have cabin internet setups but tht should be checked out in advance.
There is still a charge and it will
vary. Other ships don't have internet
capability in the cabins.

Some people just can't leave work
behind and MUST have internet access so
it is wise to check that out before
booking a cruise.
