Hello,

Often, these waitlists will clear for these cruises. I am a travel agent with a Virtuoso travel agency and probably about 80% of the waitlisted people get on the ship. People make plans very early and then, have a conflict and need to cancel. With the QM 2, bookings have been open for a while and thus, you can be optimistic about your waitlist clearing.

Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions!

Best Regards,
Julia

Hi Lewis:
I just quickly checked one location, and they are showing D5 C3 and B6 available. Maybe those aren't the categories you wanted though.

As Jelzie stated cabins will open up, so just be diligent and keep checking (or find another source to book it?!!)

Good luck!!

I have never booked through this site, but I use it for quick reference.

www.icruise.com

I looked again today and those 3 categories are still available--B6 C3 D5

My understanding is that different agencies have blocks of cabins and some will still have cabins available when others start a waitlist. I'm sure some TA on the forum can explain this better than I.

My point is to do more research and look at other sites to see if your cabin category is available. Personally I have used www.mytravelco.com for dozens of my cabins and never had a problem. So...happy searching. I hope you can come up with something!

Hi Cruiser

I have been to that site and get weekly email from them as well.

Thru my TA I have a better price for the room even though I am on a waitlist.

I have spoken with some folks who said what jelzie said above, my chances are good that we'll be able to go!
