Turks/Caicos Beach for a Day?

We will be stopping here for the day. We want to go to a nice beach and possibly use hotel facilities..any suggestions? Any on Grace Bay Beach? Thank you!

If your cruise stops in the Turks & Caicos, it stops at Grand Turk, not Providenciales, where you'll find Grace Bay. It's not really possible or feasible to take a day-tour to Provo.

There's a truly excellent beach right at the cruise terminal in Grand Turk, or you can take the island shuttle to Governor's Beach which is just to the north of the terminal.

Definitely check your itinerary to be sure. It's always possible that a cruise line could try calling in Provo, but I haven't heard of this happening. Grand Turk, on the other hand, has become one of the most well-loved ports in a very short period of time.

There is beach right there and a very nice pool above it. They have chaises and shade half moon things, all free on the beach. We went to the beach, friends went to the pool. The port was built for cruise ships so there are no vendors there, just very nice shops.
