Storm or Hurricaine Season?
Can someone tell me if Oct. 28 - Nov. 7 is a bad season to cruise to St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Barbados, and St. Johns? We are booked on the X Century and have already had to postpone this once and would hate to do so. I would like to know how to prepare. THANKS!!!
How's the Century's food?

I love to cruise in any season. Your dates are during hurricane season. That has never stopped me though. Many times the captain can go to alternate islands if a hurricane is coming in your path.
To be prepared--fly in a day early (in case they close the airport at your departure city) and take out insurance.
The food on Century is great, in my opinion. The service is great also!
You should have a wonderful time!!

Hurricane season is just about over by the end of Oct , so I wouldn't worry.
The Century is wonderful..it is the training ship for Celebrity so service is great and food is also good....
It is a smaller ship than the newere GRAND class of ships but GOOD none the less...You will have a wonderful time...

Hi,
Very few cruises are cancelled due to hurricane season - the cruise lines just move the ships to different ports to avoid the storms. Actually, being on a cruise ship is one of the safest places to be in a hurricane!
Best Regards,
Julia
