I am going on HAL Veendam in February around Cape Horn with a stop, among other places, in Punta Arenas, Chile. I am not booking the ship excursion but would like to go to Otway Bay. Is there some kind of public transportation or shuttle that does this? Not interested in a tour with guide kind of thing - just transport there and back. Rental car prices are pretty good - $39 a day - so that's a possibility. We will be in port from 7 am to 10 pm. Thanks.

Betty this is a super old post you might want to make your own but years past driver/guide $35 out of the port was best way to do this. www.cruisecritic.com will have ship reviews with all options.
