ROYAL CARIBBEAN'S RADIANCE

Has anyone sailed the Radiance? I hear and have seen virtual pictures of how beautiful the ship is. I am booked in cabin 7600, a cross from the elevators. Has anyone stayed in cabin 7600? How is the noise, cabin size and the verandah?

Thanks,
Cheryl

Cheryl,
While I can't say that I've been on the Radiance, I have been on quite a few other ships and have stayed in many sections of these ships.
If you or anyone you are going with is a light sleeper please change your cabin if you can.
My one experience right near an elevator was not a happy one. On cruises many people are up quite late and there is constant noise by the elevators. Cabin walls are so thin that you can hear everything, so please heed my advice or bring along some earplugs!!!
Other than that, have a wonderful cruise. I hear the Radiance is a beautiful new ship!!

Deb

Yes, I sailed on the Radiance in May. It was absolutely beautiful (I also sailed on the Grand Princess so my expectations were high). We stayed near the elevators/atrium and the only noise I noticed was some loud guests walking by. Veranda sizes differ because the ship bows out in the middle. One thing to know is that there aren't enough elevators so on formal nights and during busy times you can end up waiting 10-15 minutes (we just got on whatever was going anywhere). My grandma was in a wheelchair but I used the stairs whenever I could. The shows are wonderful, food is good although I didn't try the alternative restaurants because of the price. It was a terrific trip. You're really going to enjoy it!

Britt

Hi Cheryl, I found pictures of the ship on http://psp.club.tip.nl/ It looks great. If you are going in December we will be neighbors. We are in 7616.
Sun
