Royal Caribbean Formal Night Men's Attire
For the formal nights on the Southern Caribbean Cruise, would a navy blazer, slacks and a shirt and tie work for my husband and teenage son? Or do they really need suits?
Thanks,
Cheryl

Yes, AOS has all of those things and I am assuming this is the ship as it appeals more to families than Serenade who sails the Southern route also.
Also an ice rink, BBall court, etc.
I disagree with georgec that casual attire with a tie is appropriate however. The majority do follow the dress code.

kfusto,
You agreed with jacketwatch; and then said later that you disagreed with georgec who said the very same thing.
Blazer, shirt & tie are not formal wear, they are informal. Or what some might describe as "casual with a tie".
This topic has been discussed ad nauseum, but I think that the majority agree that formal is either a tuxedo or business suit for a man. Blazer, slacks & shirt are not formal.
