I've noticed several postings about rough waters on Alaskan sailings but all happened to be on lines other than Princess. Are the routes all the same and what has been the experience of others on Princess? Do we need to take medicine for nausea? We are on the Sea Princess in September. Could also use any input on whaat to pack and shore excursions that are great or not so great.

Joan,we went the end of May99,so weather could be about the same. So wear layers. We found nice jogging outfits were great. Take hat,gloves and rain gear. As to the rough waters, we did'nt think it was bad,but everyone is different,if I suffered from seasickness, I would go ahead and wear the patch. Why take a chance. We found some tours over the internet,so good hunting. Have a great time. Sandy
