QM2
We are in our late 50's and am thinking of taking a trip on QM2 from Southhampton to NY in May 2006, staying a few days in Manhatten. BUT, the sales pics etc indicate that it may be 'stuffy' on board. We are 'working' class people with a few 'bob' and don't feel comfortable with 'posh' people. Have we got it wrong?

Especially with the QM's 3000 passenger capacity - I doubt all are of the same stripe/economic strata. Also - I'm not positive about this, but doesn't your cabin class dictate some of the restaurants available to you? So depending on your accommodation, you may not even have the oppty to rub shoulders with the posh and stuffy folk....?
