Pre cruise hotel at Port Canaveral FL

We are taking a cruise which leaves from Port Canaveral. We are driving down and would like a hotel where we can stay the night before the cruise. One that offers a spot to leave our car during the cruise and transportation to the dock would be ideal. Any suggestions?

I would try the RON JON Raddisson. It is right there in the port.

I was staying at the Hampton Inn and left my car - 2 years ago.

Call first to double check if they still allow that.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll call and check prices.

By all means the Radison! They have a LOT of cruise passengers and even have a cruise parking lot area- at the end of their lot, which is free of charge. They have a free shuttle -with a trailor for luggage but you MUST make a reservation for it. This is how many people they have going to cruise ships! It's a good idea to make that reservation when you make your reservation for the hotel otherwise you may have to wait until much later in the afternoon.

Actually folks, there are fifteen local hotels with cruise parking (http://www.portcanaveralhotelsinside...canaveral.html). The Radison is nice but can be a bit pricey. A lot of the park and cruise hotels are at the beach, which the Radison is not.

Radisson at the Port.

They have some great packages (park free w/ shuttle) and cater to cruise customers. We only stayed there one night and wished it were more. The pool was amazing and they offered a caribbean style BBQ buffet. We felt our cruise vacation started AT the hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

We did the Kennedy Space Center package that included discount tickets for KSC.

Have fun!

We have stayed at the Raddison but that has gotten pricey. You have to make a reservation for their shuttle to the pier -and they have a back parking lot for cruise passengers.
We now stay at the Econo Lodge in Cocoa (NOT Cocoa Beach!) They have a cruise package for $70 and that includes a shuttle to the nearby port and a free drink in their lounge - which has music on weekends. They now have a free hot breakfast too.
