paddyzim, I'm leaving today for that cruise! qwovadis doesn't understand that for this cruise it's all about the destinations. 4 consecutive days in Israel! Who cares about alternative restaurants on board. We can actually have dinner in a port city. I reserved 2 hotel rooms! This cruise (for whatever reason) was so cheap, that as long as the ship floats, has hot water and a/c and coffee & water while I'm on it, the amenities don't really matter. 3 days in Turkey, 4 in Israel and 3 days to chill in the Med. Sounds spectacular to me! Have fun.

I just checked the price, under $500 for 10 days, late Octcober departure. The itenary: Istanbul, Haifa, Ashdod, Piraeus (Athens), Kusadasi (Ephesus), Istanbul. At less than $50 a day for room and board ... wow! Too bad we are already booked for something else on the same dates.
At that price, who cares about the amenities. It would be cheaper and safer than a bus ride.
