Paul....or somebody....please explain this to me!!

I quote:

"(f) Carnival shall refuse boarding to any guest under the age of twent-one unless: (1) the guest is traveling in the same stateroom with an individual twenty-five years or older; (2) traveling in the same stateroom as their spouse; or (3) traveling with a parent or guardian in an accompanying stateroom."

So.........anyone under 25 and not married or with their parents or guardian cannot sail on Carnival????

So an unmarried couple where both are under 25 cannot sail alone??????

WHAT????????

Lost,
Read your own post again. Those rules aplly to under 21's only. If both parties are over 21 you are allowed to board. Now if only one of you is over 21 but under 25, and the other is under 21, then you have a problem.

Don't worry about it. Paul made the mistake with telling people that people under 21 couldn't book passage/get on board.

Later on several teens got on to tell him he was full of it as usual. Ask someone who knows. The cruise line.

The rules you state are true, and have been in place for a few years now. It's Carnival's way of getting rid of the spring breakers and student groups that gave them such a bad rep. I applaud them for making the change!

Like most of their rules they don't enforce them. Money to them is the ultimate rule.

They do enforce it. Everytime we book a cabin on Carnival we are required to provide birth dates for all passengers.

They will not book it in if 2 passengers are 18, or if one is 18 and one 24, etc.

One exception is on certain sailing 2 agencies are allowed to book student groups. These are usually on older ships at Spring Break and Graduation time.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but does this mean a 19 year old married couple could cruise, but an unmarried couple that is, say 20 and 24, could not?

Simple. Married couples are allowed. If a teen wishes to travel he/she must have one 25 year old in the cabin. The only rule that may be broken are if there are two 25 year olds and two teens in a family and the family books two staterooms. When they arrive on the ship they can put the teens in a cabin by themselves. This is how teens can sail by themselves in a stateroom.

Paul

Paul you are so wrong. Like many old people you think you have the answers to everything.

1.You have forgotten what it is like to be young and creative. To get what you want.

2. Age old mistake. Everyone underestimates the younger crowd.

I along with many of my friends have gone on Carnival. I am under 21. And single.

Please many people think you are stupid as it is. Don't add the entire population under 21 to the list. Since a passport is not required fake IDs are easy enough to obtain.

You were young once weren't you?
