Are there any discounts or coupons available for the pier parking? I see online that the fee is $7 a day. We will be driving in from Austin the morning of the cruise.
Any hints or ideas most welcome!

We just returned from the Carnival Celebration today. The parking was easy and the staff were all smiling and welcoming. They really should train airport workers! A totally different breed!

That would have been wonderful, But.... wrong port! I'm leaving from the HOUSTON pier.

Hi, cheezz, it's nice to meet a fellow Austinite that's also a Fodorite. I used the same pier a couple of years ago. The terminal is a very nice facility, located in the ugliest part of Houston.

I also did a search on the Port of Houston Authority and found no special offers, so the only thing I can suggest is calling the cruise line to see if they can help. Good luck and enjoy your cruise.
