More Renaissance questions

I might be very interested in a cruise to Tahiti. Need opinions on these cruises only. Also, how long is the flight and what kind of prices on air has anyone gotten, I'd be leaving from Chicago. 10 day or 15 day cruise, pros and cons. Thanks.
Since Ren has not brought up the subject of airline problems as yet I would adivse you to choose an itinerary that will give you a few hours layover in your embarcation city.

Ren in the past is no help if you miss their flight. You will miss the ship if your original flight/s are late.

Good luck, Paul

I don't know if NCL sails to Tahiti, but according to messages on this board, NCL doesn't do anything to help you if your airline connection is delayed. Even if they arrange your airline reservations, you are out of luck it seems. By the way, read the Renaissance messages on this board. Paul (who answered your question) is not one of their fans and is often in a debate with their supporters. He doesn't come off as sincere.

Whether or not Paul is or isn't just bashing Ren cruises for reasons of his own, I like to hear more than one point of view (including his). I feel it will make me a more aware traveler to have as much info as possible when making my choices.I am still interested in a cruise to Tahiti and if I go with Ren, I will be sure to read the "fine print". Give the guy a break, I think Paul has valuable information to share and isn't just taking up space to critisize others opinions.
Thanks Kisses for your kind words.

This is a strange forum. It is the only one where I am critized for giving advice and stating facts.

Paul
