Missed the ship due to power outage
Anyone out there that missed their flight due to the power outage. We were sailing on Summit out of Vancouver but didn't make it last Friday. Misery loves company...what was your outcome?

tvr3 If you booked the air with the cruiseline they are responsable for getting you to ship or if you have cancellation/interuption insurance that would have gotten you there as well. (or at least gotten some of your money back)Pls advise why you missed the ship and didn't try one of these options??

Last Saturday,Peter Greenberg---TravelGuru to the Universe-- was at LaGuardia.....He had interviewed hundreds of travellers headed for cruises in Florida since the night before...there were simply no airplanse to get people where they needed to be..."airplane allocation"....

Yes but if they were flying Air Canada out of Toronto (which were cancelled) they could have gotten on Westjet instead or flown out the next day with any numbers of carriers. Not really important now but maybe they could get some money back or insurance...good luck Dani
