We'll take the Mercury from Vancouver to Seward in May 11 (a friend and I) and we will like to hear your suggestions about the best tours that offers this ship.
Thank you.

We are cruising on the Mercury 6/29/01 and have just found on the celebrity site the shore excursions they offer along with the prices and times of departures. Hope this helps.

Why would anyone care to listen to the critique of others?

Everyone has their own lifestyle. One should study the tour brochures. Visit the library. Since you have access to the net search there also.

Some people just love Dunn's River Falls but others just hate it.

Some people just loved the Hermitage in St. Petersburg but it does take three days to see it all. Do you like museums? I would rather see all the beautiful sights in St. Petersburg and spend the extra time. Some people think St. Petersburg is a dump.

Some people say they had an excellent lunch on this specific tour. I took the tour and was treated to one entree and a cookie for dessert.

One person said "don't take such and such horseback riding tour since the horses are all tired and old." I took the tour and couldn't control the darn horses. Possibly they had two sets.

Some people say to swim with the stringrays but do they tell you the water may be over your head. Some tours visit deep water and others not.

See what I mean. A vacation is an adventure and it is your adventure to love or hate. Just study.

Do things to fit your lifestyle and enjoy "your" vacation.

Paul

A response to Paul's comments: "Why would anyone listen to the critique of others"? Isn't that what this forum is about? I know that I love hearing what fodorites have to say, then I make my own choices.

This forum is a great source for information. Please don't stop others from asking questions.
