Mediterranean Cruises-best time to go?
Hi , planning a Mediterranean cruise next year, for approx 10-15 days, 2 mid age adults, no kids. When is the best time to go? Thinking of either May or September. Any recommendations on which cruise lines are best for MEDI cruises?
Thanks!

We've done two Med cruises in October on Oceania. We picked that time of year because it isn't hot and isn't crowded. Oceania is a perfect fit for us--small ships, no formal nights, all open seating meals, free specialty restaurants, wondwerful staff, TO reps on board at each port.

If you are bargin hunters, look for shoulder seasons. Last 2 weeks in May and maybe first two 2 weeks in June. After that, it would be too hot and too crowded. Last 2 weeks in September and first 2 weeks in October would be a good time to book as well.

We have cruised the Med. and have done it in September, October and December.... Either one of those months is great.. the end of Sept. when everybody is back to work and it's not as crowded. We have had warm weather all those three months...
