Mature family of 10 looking for reunion cruise suggestions!

My wife and I are looking for 7 night 5 cabin cruise suggestions for our family - 4 grown children + spouses. I am in my 80s. 8 of us live in Texas. My wife and I were just on a Regent cruise to Greece and Turkey. We are open to river or ocean cruises. A few of family work at schools so restricted at summer '26 dates. Ultra luxury may bust our budget of + or - $50k (we are picking up the tab). Prefer smaller ships. Embarkation port is open. Ideas we are kicking around include French Polynesia, Caribbean, Mexico, European river cruises, etc. May consider land based vacation depending on cost, schudes, travel agent, etc.

Thanks for suggestions.......................

Great you are treating them!

May I ask the months in 2026 you cannot go? It does make a difference.

How about Alaska?
NCL has ships that go during that timeframe and include your gratuities, drink package, dining and three specialty restaurants, Wi-Fi package and discount on Shore Excursions.
You will be well within your budget this way as well

I would say in general looking into Norwegian Cruise lines. You could also consider going to the Baltic or Iceland, though that would be more costly, but I still think you would stay within your budget quite comfortably.

Would you care to adopt me, so I can join you?

😁

I like the suggestion for Alaska. I also live in Texas, so I know how brutal the Texas summer is. I think that a summer trip to a cool climate would be perfect.

If you like small ships, I recommended Hurtigruten. I just returned from a cruise from Iceland to Greenland and it was magical. I also took a cruise around Norway with Hurtigruten and I recommended that too. Hurtigruten doesn't have the glitz and glam of the big ships, but the experience is pretty unforgettable.

If they choose this ship an added bonus would be experiencing the midnight sun as they will be going in the summer time.
