According to the Carnival literature you cannot bring liquor on board the ship but is it OK to bring as much wine as you want?<BR>I have heard they will allow wine for special occasions.

Hi Barry<BR> Carnival allows one bottle of wine/champagne for special occasion. They charge a corkage fee in the dining room. So don't forget your corkscrew, LOL. ps.....red wine in 2-liter coke bottles, white in 7-up, rum, vodka in perrier bottles.Get it? LOL

Thanks for the great tip Linda.<BR>I will be leaving from Canada to the U.S. Do you know if it is against the law to bring wine from one country into the other? Is there much chance that the airport people would check your baggage if they saw a 2 litre coke bottle with the x-ray/scanner machine?

I'm always amazed that people will spend thousands on a crusie and than try to smuggle Liquor aboard, against the cruise lines policy and possibly risk an international incident to save a few bucks. Besides, when you're sitting on the deck and feel like a drink, the last thing you want to do is run back to your cabin for the booze. Unless you are a true alcoholic, don't waste your time and energy, it's not worth it.
