We sailed with Celebrity and found the buffet lacking but the main dining room very good. The service was top notch. I especially liked having every crew member that we met say "good morning" or whatever time of day. It had a domino effect and soon our fellow passengers were also greeting each other. We have also sailed with Princess and they are getting more penny pinching with every cruise. Case in point not having the "good' tea on the buffet line and also the constant badgering to buy drinks. I for one do not enjoy drinking while tanning in the hot tropic sun. X has the best shows while Princess still hasn't got it together.

We are both Celebrity and Princess fans, with Princess edging out Celebrity with it's personal choice program and better food (we felt) but we just tried HAL ( Zuiderdam) and fell in love with HAL...FOOD was awesome, entertainment great, ships not as large as Princess and it was all in all a GREAT experience..So we will definitely try HAL again...

Also there were ALL ages on board from 30's to 70's.....
