I don't know if this is part of what you want to know. We sailed the Inspiration 2 years ago out of San Juan Puerto Rico. (different itinerary) It is a beautiful ship in the usual Carnival style. Lots of neon lighting, statues and a beautiful atrium. On the negative side, everything was blaringly loud, and at least on this cruise they were pushing rub off lottery tickets which I thought was tasteless. If you are familiar with Carnival's style of cruises, you should have no problem. For more info please contact me.
Hi Elaine,

Other than the decor being eclectic it is a wonderful cruise ship. Jack mentions blaringly loud. He must be talking about the main pool. He is correct. Do go to the quiet pool at the rear of the ship or read a book on either side of the ship.

The disco is also loud but you have many choices of lounges with all types of music and excellent musicians.

I thought the Inspriation was great. Especially the food.

Enjoy,

Paul

Thanks for the replies..I encouraged my daughter and son-in-law to try a cruise when he would rather have just flown some where for a few days. After checking, 4 days/3 nights in Jamaica would have cost more than a 7 day cruise and so he reluctantly agreed. I then started to feel very responsible for their enjoying themselves. I will worry no more!!

My husband & I have sailed on the Inspiration out of San Juan before 9/11. It was wonderful. We are wondering how it will be checking in on the Inspiration on 3/31/02. Have heard two different stories. That it takes hours to embark and that it is a breeze. Does anyone out their have any advice???

Thanks - Carol
