food on norwegian coastal voyage
I read on cruisecritic that there is only on meal a night (no choices). I am a picky eater at times and am lactose intollerant. What happens if you don't like the meal that night or can't eat it.

So sorry to hear you booked Norwegian. Maybe you can save some good food from lunch for your evening meal.
Do those coastal cruises have room service?
Better research your vacations in more depth next time. Sorry!

Yes, there is only one choice at dinner. I suggest that you ask to speak to the chef about your dietary needs. They will prepare something that you can eat.
The Norwegian Coastal Voyage is not a cruise in the traditional sense but it is a fabulous experience. There is no room service
Incidently, breakfast and lunch and buffet so that you can pick and chose what you eat.
Norwegian Coastal Cruises get the best docking locations.

I am going to check the rates for next year when they come out for one of the Independent vacations. I will either do the Scandinavian Sampler that, also, goes to Iceland, but only goes north for the cruise or Grand Norway that goes both north and south. I am a single traveler and I think this will be cheaper than the cruise lines. I will have to look into the food issue though.
