Hi Larry

yes going in a day early is a bonus. I have booked my excursions online with the local companies. Not going to those ports.
we are doing stingray city and coral and barrier reef in gran camen, all inclusive beach day in mexico and doing the panama canal and rain-forest walk in Panama. we are also stopping in columbia and puerto Limon but will wait until we get there to see what is happening.

HRHDHD - yes I read that it is no longer so strict with their rules on the formal nights but we just want to get dressed up lol

thanks for the updated prices on the photographs Eschew. still think we will purchase some as it isn't every day you look a million dollars on a beautiful ship lol

thanks again folks

Ally

We have sailed on the Equinox and others in that Celebrity group. We really like the ships and the food is good. Last trip I did not think the specialty restaurants were any better than the Aqua class--we think this class is worth a bit extra. If you have the chance to do the kitchen tour if it is offered it is really quite a nice tour--they served champagne prior to the tour. Don't know if you will sail from Miami or F Lauderdale but the Miami sail away is very nice--we do enjoy the sail aways out on the deck. The swim suit in a carry on could be a good idea but before sailing there will be the required muster drill. Don't remember seeing anyone in swim suit at any of those drills. If you stop in Costa Rica the banana plantation tour was good. Have a wonderful cruise!

Ally,

If you want to dress up, you should. I was just providing the information to correct this statement in another reply: "On Celebrity on formal nights, all men in the main dining room will be wearing jackets. It is still required for that night at least." That is no longer true.

Enjoy your cruise! We took our first Celebrity cruise last March and booked two more onboard. So we liked it a lot.
