Explorer of the Seas...suite, etc?

My husband and I are going with my mother on Explorer of the Seas in January. We were going to get two rooms but for much less money we can get a Superior Ocean View Suite and share. We have no problem sharing a room but does anyone know what these suites are like? How big? Also will it be warm enough in January? This is our first cruise so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi Amy,

It is nice to see Royal Carib. is finally enlarging it's staterooms.
the Voyager and Explorer cabins are quite a bit larger than their previous closet cabins. the Radiance staterooms are even larger.

Your Suite is 277 sq. ft. and plenty large enough for 3. Be sure to get your travel agent to book a cabin with the sofa bed (very important).

Have a wonderful cruise, you will love the Explorer ..... so much detail ..... so much to see.

Paul

We were a party of 4 adult women staying in a Superior Ocean View Suite cat.D9 on sister ship, Voyager. It's quite spacious and the only time we were a little bit cramped is when we all were getting ready for dinner at the same time, but we made that into fun with pre-dinner cocktails and conversations about our days activities while dressing. You have a large bed and a large sofa-bed. You'll also have plenty of drawers, cubby-holes and shelves to accomidate your "stuff" Theres a walk-in closet that has even more room, and doubles as a convienient dressing room. The balcony is also a decent size. We loved our room and I would definately recomend it for 3 people. Have fun!!!!!

Amy....forgot to mention that there is a curtain that can be utilized for privacy between the 2 beds.
