Hi Dan, Prices run about the same on alll mass-market ships. Add 15% tip to the below prices: Prices range from domestic to premium. Champagnes & wines. Bottles $20 to $29. Ultra-premium over $100. Glass $4.95 to $6.50 Sherries and Aperitifs. $3.95 for a couple ounces. Ports - $3.50 to $12.95 Cognacs & Brandies - $3.95 to $11.00 Specialty Cocktails - $3.95 Frozen Cocktails - $4.95 Scotches - $3.95 to $4.95 Malts - $5.75 to $9.50 Bourbon - $3.75 to $5.75 Vodkas - $3.75 to $4.95 Martinis - $4.95 & $6.26 Rums - $3.75 to $4.75 Gins - $3.75 to $4.75 Tequilas - $3.75 to $4.95 Domestic Beer - $3.25 Imported Beer - $3.75 to $5.75 Cordials and Liqueurs - $3.95 & $4.25 Soft Drinks - $1.00/glass, $1.50/can, $2.50/bottle (20 oz.) Wow, except for the soda those prices are great! I always heard drinks were really expensive on cruises. My only question--what do you mean by ultra-premium wines?

Hi Dan, For example you can buy Opus One Mondavi - Rothchild, 1997 or Montrachet, Grand Cru 1998. How about a bottle of Opus One, Magnum 1980 at about $450. If you are a high-roller the casino department will get it for you at no charge. Carnival has a great wine list. Sort of debunks the Wal-Mart myth. Paul

Not sue if Carnival offers this, but RCCL has unlimited beverage cards that you can buy. It is not very openly advertised on the ship, but it is buried in the literature if you read carefully. The price depends on the length of the cruise, but for 5-day unlimited soda is $24 and unlimited beer & wine is $48. In the dining room our assistant waiter kept our glasses full all the time, as if we were in a regular free-refill restaurant at home.

Carnival does have the drink "coupons" but they must be purchased in advance through the Gift Department and are rather expensive. Maybe not since the coupons are for domestic and premium liquors. With RCCL it is just for domestic. Paul

So Carnival does not offer all you can drink beer/wine cards? Do they offer stamps cards on the ship, or the only way is to buy the gift card on the web site?

Hi Bruno, You can get four drink coupons for $19.50 (tip included). This entitles you to any drink on their menus. I certainly would not purchase a soft drink with one since the coupons are so expensive. So if you only drink say Hardy, X.O. at $9.50 a glass plus tip the drink coupons are the way to go. I do not know if you can order the coupons on the web-site but you can call Gift Services at 1-800-522-7648. Paul
