My husband and I were on the Norway in early Dec. for their first Sports Illustrated Cruise. We loved the ship.
The food was wonderful every night, and our room was fairly spacious compared to some I've seen. We really enjoyed it, and would go back again.

Of all the cruises I've been on, "The Norway" is the best. The Windward Dining room is the nicer of the two dining rooms. It's very GRAND looking. Major staircase to make a grand entrance. Take a tour of the Galley!! Very cool. We have been on this ship 3 times in 15 months. I ready to go again. Third time we took our 81 year old Aunt recovering from a stroke 6 months earlier. She DID NOT have any troubles getting around. ENJOY!!!!

Just came back from the transatlantic cruise on the Norway. Had a great cabin on Sky Deck K-032, but the ship was dirty and the food average. Would not recommend it unless the price was right...Only deep discounts. Try celebrity.

I was on the Norway in 1996 and did not enjoy the ship a whole lot. I found the food to be average, the service to be average, and was very irritated that my cabin was not cleaned until around 2:00 daily. You must be careful when booking since the cabins are all different sizes, so make sure your cruise consultant checks carefully for the largest square feet you can possibly get in your category.

We are very expperienced cruisers. The Norway was very dissapointing. The ship is old, dirty, and the rooms are apalling. The furnishings are very old, in in poor condition. It was a very long 12 days! (food was at best, average) We have been on other NCL ships, and found them to be delightful. This barge was really a disappointment. I would not wish this one on anyone. Avoid!

We sailed the Norway in late January. It was our first cruise & we enjoyed it thoroughly. We found the food to be great, for the most part.

I agree that parts of the ship need some attention, though. This is NCL's flagship & they need to spend some $ on it if they are going to keep her much longer.

Be aware that many of the rooms, particularly the older ones, are small. Upgrades are easy to obtain, though. We booked early December for the end of January cruise & were upgraded 7 levels. ROom was still smal but we didn't care. We were hardly THERE!

Bottom line? I would cruise her again. Enjoy.
