CruiseQuick.com competitors!

I talked yesterday with Trip Assured trying to ask these people about travel insurance. As I mentioned on yesterday's post, we travel alot but have never bought this type of insurance (actually 1st real cruise). They were ~ without a doubt ~ the natiest people I have seen with customers. They chuckled, said they didn't know how to answer a question about what is not covered by insurance, threatened to hang up on me, etc.

We were VERY pleased with the quote and service from cruisequick.com. However, they apparently are very closely tied in with Trip Assured so I am wondering if there are other web base cruise booking organizations. I would like to see how there prices compare with cruisequick.com.

Phillip:

There are a ton. Try cruisebrothers.com, crucon.com, thecruisecompany.com, cruise.com, i-cruise.com.

Let them know the price you were offered, and see if they can match or beat it.

Cheers!

Philip ==>

I have used Cruisequick but I shop for my own insurance, typically through Access America.

Cruisequick does offer good pricing...but no TA can be all things to all people all of the time. I've also used Bestprices.com and New Horizons.

As Jim said, if you're happy with cruisequick.com, just purchase your cruise through them and your insurance separately. You can purchase directly from most insurers. You'll need to purchase it within so many days of making your initial deposit (usually 7-10) if you want coverage for pre-existing conditions.
