If you are having doubts about it then listen to your instincts. This is hardly a good deal since you are already paying quite a bit out of pocket. I bet the more you dig the more you will find hidden costs to you.
I get these offers all the time and I throw them about because I know it's a scam. I'm sorry to say my Dad fell for it and it ended up costing a lot more than he expected.

Its a complete scam. By the time you pay for the extras it'll be more than if you bought it yourself and on top of that you will probably get a high pressure pitch to buy a time share. If its too good to be true it ain't. Take a pass.

I received an offer recently for a Bahama crusie plus 2 weeks vacation in Florida, at anytime of my choosing, and I don't even have to take all 2 weeks of vacation together, it is one week in Orlando and one week at Fort Lauderdale, and the promsie the hotel is near Disney or the cruise port.
The offer incldued hotel, breakfast and the cruise fare. The listed value is $3,000 and all I have to pay is $399 plus tax for everything. The company offering it is listed as a reputable travel broker located in the Miami area.
Two things come to mind. One: the toruism is so depressd in Florida that they are desparate for tourists. Two: it is a scam and you can book all these for less than $399 per person.
If a deal is too good to be true, it is probably too good to be true.
Note: an overnight cruise to Bahama is $99 and that's probably what is being offered. A Days Inn type hotel is charging around $30 a night including continental breakfast (cereal and toast) and it incldued shuttle to Disney. Just do the math. It works out to $618 for 2 people and they are charging $798 ($399x2) plus you would probably book air and car rental through them unless you plan to drive there.
