Hi Guys,
I'd like to combine two cruises back-to-back for travelling from any port in UK to any port in Sri Lanka.
I'm thinking of spending two to three weeks in total.
Possible?
If yes,how do I do it?
Please give details of websites, tips, precautions etc.
This'll be my first cruise experience.
Thanks a lot.

That's an interesting idea. You said you want to spend two to three weeks. Are you going round trip or one way to Sri Lanka? It seems unlikely you can go round trip with the time you have. If you just want to go to Sri Lanka and return to the UK, this would be much more doable by flying.

Sorry but that would be impossible. The fastest ships from the UK to Sri Lanka take a full 21 days and those aren't passenger liners with tourist ports of call. And then there is the problem of finding a short cruise that starts in the UK and ends somewhere with frequent short cruises to Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka mostly factors into major looooong distance cruises like 80 to 100+ days around-the-world or shorter cruises including maybe India and Singapore, or Thailand, or South Africa. Your plan simply doesn't work.

If you want to get to Sri Lanka faster than several weeks/months, you're going to have to fly. If you just want a cruise somewhere -- that is a whole different matter.

If you can fly to India, take a look at a company named CORDELIA CRUISES.

Each time I see that country mentioned, I have a longing to return. The first time I was there it was still Ceylon, such a beautiful name!!
