Concierge Class

Hi there,

Am considering booking Concierge Class Cabin on Galaxy, Eastern Med Cruise 30th Oct.
I am unclear as to the extras you get by opting for Concierge Class. Can anyone help?? Any other comments would be grateful as we are first time cruisers?? We are a couple in our mid 30's.

Thanks

Cailin

We're going on Celebrity next month and taking the Concierge Class Cabin. Here's a link to the Galaxy cabin & amenities. If it fits into your budget, I would go for it.

Let me know how it was - we have booked Century concierge cabin in Feb for Western Caribbean since it was only balcony category left. Priority on/off and luggage sounds nice, but I think they can keep the fruit basket - the last thing I need on a cruise is more food!

Hi! I was on the Mex. Riv. cruise on the Mercury in CC. in Feb. You had a welcoming bottle of champagne, fruit basket, hors d'oeuvres every night around 5 p.m., binoculars to use, fresh flowers in the cabin & bathroom - little extras that made you feel special. Balconies are always nice too! I'd do it again if it wasn't too much more money than a regular balcony

We were raised to CC level on the Celebrity Century...there was a plate of appetizers in the room every night, a bottle of wine, flowers in the room and bathroom, first embarking and disembarking (for embarking is well worth it).. choice of pillows, I had booked a spa treatment and couldn't get through to cancel.. stopped at the Conceirge and she did it for me..I think at the time it was only $50.00 more.. Luvwcruise was right there was binoculars and I think an umbrella.. When we book Celebrity again I am aiming for a CC level WITH balcony.. perhaps back on the Century or the Millineum from Barcelona.. but I intend to book early.. like January for November/December

I have been on the Mill. in concierge three times. I would spend the little extra and go for it. You really do get better service, especially on these larger ships

I think it is over priced and wouldn't pay for it. Especially in Europe when you are rarely in your cabin.
