How far in advance of the cruise are passengers allowed to make online reservations for the specialty restaurants?
Is there a limit as to how many reservations you can make?
Is your credit card charged at the time you make the reservation......or when you are at the restaurant?
Is there a penalty for canceling the reservation?

I don't remember when the reservations opened up -- I think it was shortly after last payment date.

Yes, they charge your credit card at the time you make the reservation. I don't know about penalties for canceling.

I doubt you can make it in advance online. Usually it is accepted on board only. There are some penalty if you fail to cancel 24 hours or maybe 12 hours in advance, just don't remember exact dead line.

They charge your credit card? You mean, post the charge on your account, and charge on the last day of the cruise?

No, I really do mean they charge your credit card at the time you make the reservation. I have $130 worth of charges on my Amex bill this month for my reservations for our December 18th cruise.
