Focus David, FOCUS! You asked 5 questions in one paragraph. That is, in part, why you're not getting a response.
Carnivals rooms are the largest of any line, but you did not say if you've or your fiance have sailed before so it's hard to help you here. No, they will not deliver liquor to your cabin and if you buy it on board they will hold it until your cruise is over. You can bring on a bottle of champagne or wine to celebrate the occation, but even then, they'll charge you a corkage fee if you take it to the dining room. If you want liquor in your room pack a plastic bottle of you favorite in your suitcase (NOT your carry on) because they do not check suitcases.
Your travel agent should be able to answer the other questions and again, from now on, you'll stand the best chance of getting a reply if you ask one question at a time. Have a Happy Honeymoon

Dave - exactly, what do you mean when you say that Carnival has the largest cabins of any line? We all want as much space as we can get and if Carnival has THE largest and the prices are in line, we'd be fools not to book Carnival.

Oh, and as a start to this process, the largest cabin on the NCL Star is 5,350 square feet (including balcony).
Category 11 is a good size. About 195
sq feet 10.5 x 18. Not sure about
the tub--the balcony is as wide as the
cabin, and about 4 feet deep.

You may be able to buy a full bottle of liquor from the bar, at bar rates, to
be delivered to your cabin. The liquor
from their shops is Duty Free, and not to be consumed onboard.

Put it in a plastic flask in your checked bags.

dwoods - I appreciate your point of view but please listen to mine. David, the original poster, came to Fodors with some honest questions - one of which was "we are in a cat. 11. is that a good size room and balcony?"

Then along comes "Dave" who states, as fact, that Carnival has the largest cabins of any line. So David probably feels like it doesn't matter what the answer is to his question - after all, Carnival has the largest cabins and I'm on Carnival!

To further make my point, David also asked "can you have a bottle of liquor delivered to your cabin?" What if I posted back saying - why would you want liquor delivered to your cabin when Carnival provides free bottles of liquor at the Pursor's desk for the asking! With no editing of comments by other readers on this site, David would think to himself - yes! I've made the right decision about Carnival - what a great cruise line - I think I'll always sail her!

Those of us that know better have an obligation to the poster and to Fodors to "edit" answers that are false or misleading.

Now, if you've still got a problem with that - you're right - find another board.
I have been reading the interest the comments on this thread. Quite a few inaccuracies.

The Category 11 cabins on the Elation are 220 square feet plus a 30 sq. ft. balcony. Do not remember if they have a tub. There is one in the Cat. 12 suites.

You can purchase liquor by the glass on any Carnival ship at the pizza station bar 24 hour a day.

You can buy a bottle of wine from the bartenders at the disco at full inflated price. You cannot get your purchase delivered to your cabin.

If you are a high-roller you can get just about any bottle delivered to your stateroom at no charge. Also Dom Perignon at dinner. I do not know if they would spring for Chateau Lafite Rothchilds. They have quite a few vintages on board.

Enjoy,

Paul
