Can I bring my desktop computer?
I am going on a cruise soon and I am a college student. I do not have a laptop computer, but I do have a desktop. I will have work to do on the cruise (since I will be taking a week off right before midterms) so I was wondering if I can bring my desktop on board?

I assume that since you can bring a laptop, you can bring a desktop. You'll need to check the inernet access capabilities on the specific ship you're taking as not all cabins are internet ready nor do all cruise ships even provide any internet access to passengers.

Ha Ha Ha Ha

I read this subject line and broke out laughing here at the office. You have GOT to be kidding me.

Who is the world would lug around any computer, much less a bulky desktop, on a cruise vacation?

If your midterms will take place, then you should schedule the cruise for another time.

I can just see your Pentium blowing circuit breakers left and right.

I CAN believe Peter gave what he thought was a good answer--I gotta agree with Gates--who in their right mind would even TRY to take a desk top on a cruise? How about your printer, scanner, a desk to set it all on? I have a bad back--can I take my old comfy bed from home???
