Which park would you choose, XCaret or Xelha? Is XCaret closer to the Port of Calica?
Hi Nancy,

Both parks are really fabulous with many thing to see and do depending on your lifestyle. I lean towards Xcaret with it's underground rivers, streams and caves. The park is about 20 miles north. I believe both parks have websites but I am not positive.

Paul

There is a web site for Xcaret. I visited this when we went on a Celebrity cruise to Calica. Calica is a Rock Quarry port in what first seems the middle of nowhere. Xcaret is very close by and they take you there by "Partridge Family" buses. Xcaret is a fascinating Eco-logical park. Nice beach, the under-ground rivers are very unique. They have a zoo and some ruins, food, a dolphin enchounter (all though its usually sold-out). I highly recommend this trip. I have been to Xel-Ha once also which is nice for snorkeling but you can do that at Xcaret and its closer.
