Has anyone ever taken a Russian River Cruise with Brendan Worldwide Tours?? I haven't seen them mentioned anywhere and am trying to find out if they are any good. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I took a Russian river cruise a number of years ago ( it is an especially wonderful trip) and at that time the tour companies only "booked" the trip. The details were handled by the ship company, so it didn't matter with whom you booked. On our boat there were people who booked with: Thomas Cook, Saga, Go-Ahead and some others. We all did the same tours, but on separate buses and the tour company did provide the guide for each bus. But there was also a guide that went with us from the boat company. So, from my experience, it would not matter what company you booked with. I do know that, now, Grand Circle Travel does fill a whole boat and uses their own guides. Has this been any help, or more confusion? You might ask Brendan if it is their boat and do they fill it--- then it would matter more about this company.

But DO take the trip if you love history and want to see old Russia.

Thanks for the info. I am booked to leave on the 22nd and can't wait. Did you go off on your own and get a private guide at all?? I've heard that sometimes by the end people are sick being shuttled on and off the bus.....
