Average age on Princess?

My travel agent tells me that the Princess cruises to the Carribean have a young "party like" atmosphere.

True, or is she just clowing smoke?

Jeremy; I have been on 2 carribean cruises on Princess (Sun 10/98 & Dawn 12/00). Yes there were all ages on both trips, the disco was hopping at night. Everyone seem to really enjoy themselves regardless of age. I must admit that 30 - 40% of passengers were probably over 50 but hey we can boogie with the best of them!!!!! Go enjoy!!!

We're 50 and been on 3 different Princess cruises to Alaska, caribbean and amazon and we thought the clientele were ANCIENT. The alaska had more families which our high school boys appreciated, but they were still really ip there in age. We really get tired of the South Pacific show tunes.......

I have been on 2 dawn princess cruises in the caribean. I am in my mid 30s. There is a broad range of ages. It is fun, but I wouldn't think of it as a party like atmosphere. I don't recall ever seeing people drunk and sloppy. The big luau on deck was a lot of fun.
Bottom line for me is: I'm going in November, this time with the kids.
Good Luck,
Mike

We have been on two Princess ships in the Carribbean and felt the passengers were older than the Carnival fun ship types, but definitely younger than the HAL seniors. I am in my 50's and my wife is in her 40's. Frankly, I thought the RCL cruise on Majesty was focused on seniors. Not our preference, as we have kids as young as 11.

Me and my fiance' went for her 30th birthday, and while I was 28 at the time, we found that we were among the youngest on the ship. Fortunately, there was a couple staying across the hall from us that were in the same age range. But we had a good time, just being with each other. Most on the ship were in their 40's, 50's and 60's, but hey, we were cruisin. So with that, you'll have a good time anyway. Just dont expect too much Britney Spears, or hip hop music, as the most recent song played was by MC Hammer "You Cant Touch This"
Hi Jeremy,

Average age .... 45. One has to define "fun." Passengers on Holland America have "fun" too. Same with "party like."

Paul
