Alaska in August
7 days - - August 27 => Sept 3
Juneau, Hubbard Glacier, Sitka, Ketchican, Victoria, B.C. (yes I know, Victoria is not in Alaska!)
What do we expect for weather- -we're from So. Cal. he's cold-blooded, I'm NOT!
Need to worry about mosquitos?

I answered this above, I still recommend you need a WIDE range of attire. No way to predict anything in Alaska. If you want to be out enjoying the glacier views, then you'll need the layers with knit hat and gloves. If you don't want to bring it, then you'll miss out like plenty of others. I see them every trip.

Hi - I know you gave me the word re what to pack, for which I'm really grateful.
I guess what I'm trying to get is an IDEA of what, generally, the weather is like in late Aug, early Sept. And the friggin' mosquitos. . . . will they be a problem??
