Which Caribbean Island is the best?

Which Caribbean Island is the best to visit at the beginning of October? My husband & I plan to visit in October after a much needed vacation and I want it to be great! Any advice would be great. Is Bermuda still an option?

Oct. is still hurricane season, so you'll be taking a chances. But, chances are you'll be fine. If you want to be out of the hurricane zone, go to Aruba.

Bermuda is always an option in my opinion! I love the Island. It is small but lots to do and it isn't commercialized. You will find one Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet that I think managed to get permission way back when before they outlawed this type of establishment. We have travelled several times in September and October and have never had any problem with the weather other than the occasional rainy day and some rough seas. The first of October should be very pleasant and still warm enough to enough the water. The one nice thing about Bermuda is there aren't any unpleasant surprises!

It depends on what you're looking for. Regardless, go as far South as you can that time of year. We like Grenada a lot.

Yes Bernuda is an option. Although it is still hurricane season-the peak is mid September, Bermuda is an excellent choice. We have been going to this island in September for about 15 years. Now we have changed it to early to mid October, the water is warm and the weather too.
