Where to go? Honeymoon --
Hello -- I'm planning a honeymoon -- we are both 25 and want to go to an island in the Caribbean where it isn't all families, great food, the cute little shops to look around at, good beaches and beach activities.. any ideas?? We had thought about Barbados (heard it was a little older and very $$$), Grenada (I'm concerned there isn't that much to do), or Turks and Caicos (I know nothing about it). Any help is appreciated!!

How much are you planning to spend and when will you be going? Do you care about snorkeling, hiking, sailing or island/resort nightlife? Do you prefer a larger resort that offers a lot of activities or a quieter, smaller, more secluded resort?

Well first off, congratulations on your upcoming wedding. There are so many great places to recommend for a honeymoon in May.
I have to agree with girlonthego that Bermuda would satisfy all of your requirements - good sailing, snorkeling, beaches, restaurants, and shopping. I'd recommend The Reefs (http://www.thereefs.com/reefs/home.html?sfgdata=4), a small first class resort on an absolutely stunning location overlooking the sea with a delightful beach, outstanding dining, and first class service. The Reefs offers a great six night romance/honeymoon package (http://www.thereefs.com/reefs/pkg_romance2006.html) well within your budget that includes breakfast and dinner each day (including one dinner on the beach), massages, a picnic lunch, and other extras.
Bermuda itself is a wonderful island to explore with its numerous beaches and its picturesque towns (particularly Hamilton) where you can satisfy your shopping needs.
