We have been to Jamaica in both December and January and the weather is wonderful. Highs usually in the low to mid 80s and lows around 70. We are from Florida but still enjoy this warm weather spot in the winter. In fact, we are headed to Runaway Bay next Wednesday.

Do NOT pick the Mayan Riviera at Xmas/New year's. It's horribly expensive and whenever we went (several year's but not in a row), it was wet, cool, etc., and this year was no exception!!! We like Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) over Xmas...usually good weather. This year, the second week was a bit cooler than the first but overall still hot with more sun than cloud.

Everything is expensive over Christmas and New Years. We had good luck in Negril over Christmas.

We were in Antigua for 10 days including Christmas. On one day ONLY, it rained (poured) for 30 minutes. Everyone grabbed their drinks and climbed into the hot tub and laughed our heads off. It was a warm rain. When it stopped, the sun came out immediately and was as hot as ever!!
