What to pack?

We are headed to Bermuda later this week. Do I need to pack a jacket and tie for my husband? What about the kids--two boys (15 & 11) do I need to pack a tie for them?

Depends on where you are staying. 3 ties do not take up much room so I wld toss 'em in anyway just to be sure. Or, buy them there if required. Ditto for the jacket.
Enjoy Bermuda! Lucky you!!

When we go to Bermuda, my husband does bring a jacket, but no ties. I agree with wow - the ties won't take up any room if you'd feel better bringing them in case. We never bring jackets for our boys though (14 & 12). I just make sure they have collared shirts. Most of the time they even wear khaki shorts. If you have any question about a specific restaurant, you should contact them directly for their policy. We have never had a problem. We are headed there in two weeks! Can't wait! Hope you have a great time!

Yes ceratin restaurants require a tie & jacket so I'd pack them just in case. I know a restaurant in South Hampton Princess & at the Elbow Beach did have this policy. Have a great time.... you will love Bermuda!

Thanks for the information. Can any of you recommend any restaurants for us?

At the Elbow Beach we ate at both Cafe Lido & the Seahorse Grill & loved the food & ambience at both places. At the Fairmont Southampton Princess we ate at the Newport Room- the food & service was exceptional but it is a bit upscale (snooty) & jackets were required (dont know if it would be a good place to take kids) Enjoy Bermuda!
