I agree 100% with Howard. There is also little in the way of pesky beach vendors on these islands.

I'll vote for Anguilla.
Feels like going back in time in a way. Life is slower, people are friendly, no worries about crime or harrassment, no bugs (when I've been there).
Oh, and there's the beaches. The island's true calling card.
Top it off with my favorite restaurants in the Caribbean and that's a nice package.
Unfortunately Anguilla is being discovered and will certainly become less quaint with time.

Jamaica. Unique, very inclusive attitudes, little pretense, wonderful vibe, beautiful island, beautiful beaches, friendliest people, lower cost, less travel time.

Bermuda!!! So pretty - will blow you away. Beach vendors! Not a chance. Once you get a taste of the island, you'll be itching to go back.

Hey sp,

"you'll be itching to go back"

I see there must be a sand flea problem in Bermuda.
