Westin accomodations

I am thinking of having my wedding on St. John. We are thinking of booking the Westin for the accomodations for ourselves and our party, approx. 20-25 people. Can someone please comment on the room accomodations at the Westin. From the pictures that I have seen, they seem to be just "ok" and rather small. How large are the balconies?

I just got married on St. John, Dec 11 and we had 35 of our closest friends and family. We chose Gallows Pointe, because of the amazing sunsets and charming personality. Each room is actually a 1 bedroom villa with seperate kitchen and living room. Everyone had a blast, especially since we could walk to Cruz Bay for a little night life. Our reception was held at Rhumblines and the owners did an amazing job of making our party the tropical paradise I'd envisioned. Make sure to book a charter boat for your group, the day before your wedding. They will take you all over the British Virgin Islands and it's a great "ice breaker" for your guests. I have all the info if you'd like, including my wedding coordinator on St. John, Mary Bartolucci.

Can you please send me the information on your wedding coordinator? We have always wanted a beach wedding and the one at the Westin is definitely not the best. My e-mail is [email protected] or, you can leave the info. here if you like.

I used Mary Bartolucci of www.islandstyleweddings.com
Our wedding was a total hit with everyone. Also, I surprised my husband with a special SPA treat the morning of our wedding. Mary's daughter has a company called Nomad Spa, they came to our room complete with massage tables, classical music and aroma therapy. We had side by side massages, nice touch were the waves outside. Enjoy

I just got back from St. John last night. I spent some time at the Westin on Monday just to see it. I didn't see the rooms but thought the rest of it was incredible! The grounds are beautiful and they offer so many services. If you decide to stay at the Gallows, find out how the construction noise is. I was across the street at Lavender Hills. The construction started 8 of the 9 mornings I was there at 7:00 AM. It sounded like they were in my bedroom!!! Also the Gallows will not allow anyone to stay or even eat in their restaurant who under 5, if you're having anyone that would be bringing their small children.
