Has anyone stayed at this all-inclusive resort recently? We were looking at Aruba but are now thinking Barbados might have more to offer for a two week stay.Any advice or experiences with this resort would be appreciated. Thanks!!

My husband and I stayed there in early 1993. Was not a fancy hotel but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is right on the sea or slipping down to the beach for a swim was very convenient. It was really nice to sit on your balcony and watch the sunset over the ocean. There is a pool as well. The food is good but not fancy. Very convenient for walking but all beaches are public property so lots of people walk over the hotel beach. Would go again. Rooms face either east or west or perhaps you can ask for your choice. <BR>

My wife and I honeymooned at the Welcome Inn in 1991. It wasn't an all-inclusive then, but it was a clean, well-managed, hotel with a nice pool, right on Maxwell beach, and within walking distance to St Lawrence Gap, which you must see. <BR> <BR>Hope you have fun!
