We had a villa in St. Barts near St. Jean beach. It was georgeous. There were two huge bedrooms separated by a hall, leading to a huge living room with a large deck right over the water.

But it was all alone, no pool. Anything in St Barths was a short car ride away. The beaches were nice, but as there was no shade, we would not go back. St. Martin was larger, with more beaches, shade, and better restaurants.
