This coming week, we will debut a superb new villa, SIESTA, on Runaway Bay,Jamaica that might be a good choice
for your family, especially since we also offer the services of a private excursion guide service for half, full and more day journeys to virtually anywhere or anything you fancy island-wide. For the villa, see the following pages now under final construction. There are four (4) at http:www.jamaicaescapes.com/siesta/jessap1.html For the guide services and 9 other unusual,off-the-beaten track beach villas, cottages, estates and mountain retreats, see www.jamaicaescapes.com

Check out Hyatt Cerramar in Puerto Rico, La Cabana in Aruba, both great destinations for kids. Aruba in particular is very family friendly - clean, safe, good medical care and just American enough so they can get familiar fast food if they want it.

I have heard very good reviews on the Iberostar hotel that is located on the Yucatan Coast (about a 1/2 hour from Cancun, Mexico). It is all inclusive, very much geared to families, and offers wildlife as well. Check it out. You may want to ask a travel agent about the location to make sure I have the name right.

There is also another part of Mexico that is hot this year for families and I cannot remember it for the life of me. Again, perhaps a travel agent can help.

Beaches in Turks and Caicos is available for an all inclusive. Have you thought of Club Med in one of their Caribbean destinations? Supposedly they are offering $800.00 package trips from New York to several of thier Caribbean Family destinations this summer. Perhaps they will do the same for next summer.

Good luck!

We just returned from Jamaica with our 18,16 and 13 year old kids. Did an all inclusive, THAT is the way to go. They learned to scuba dive, water ski and had a blast at the disco. They also sailing and snorkled. The two oldest are boys and they could eat as often as they wanted. That was great, sodas anytime. It was great. We stayed at FDR in Ocho Rios and also Sunset Beach in Montego Bay. FDR is very nice, upscale. We had a two bed room, two bath room. Very much like a townhouse. Living room, kitchen and half bath downstairs. Upstairs the two bedrooms each with their own full bathroom. The food was wonderful and the kids enjoyed the evening show and night life. Pretty quite for adults but we enjoy that.
Sunset Beach was fun but a moderate highrise hotel. The kids loved both. We stayed at FDR last year and also went to FDR Pebbles in Trelawny, not as nice as the FDR in Ocho Rios. Pebbles has a very windy beach. A lot of little kids at Pebbles. I think any kids would love FDR.

Hi Jane!
Happy pre-b-day!
I am just back from Beaches in Turks and Caicos. My kids are close in age to yours, and we had the times of our lives. This resort is a true All Inclusive!! No hidden fees. A true paradise. All that you could need or want at your finger tips. It is spotless, peaceful, beautiful, safe, all the things one with kids especially, could desire. I am a single Mom, and took my three children by myself, and had the most relaxing, enjoyable, low stress vacation that I have had in my life. And I have been all over the map. If you would like to ask question or would like further details on the trip, please feel free to e-mail me.
Laurie
