Top St. Lucia Resort

Hello,

My husband and I are traveling to St. Lucia this July. We would like to stay at the best 5 star hotel on the island. We have worked hard all year saving so happily money is not a problem (the only thing we are not really interested is a private plunge pool) Any opinions on what resort has the very best accommadations... thanks!

We're going in July and staying at Jalousie Hilton. It's one of the best on the island-- on the south side of the island; the resort sits between the base of Pitons. If you're interested in more activity, the North end has more resorts-- check out Hyatt or LeSport.

If money is not a problem, I would like to recommend the Sandals Halcyon resort. The service is perfect and the resort is very intimate. In, addition, you may visit the other Sandals at La Toc, which is bigger than Halcyon.
Emma:

I was on St. Lucia on my honeymoon and stayed par to it at hte Hyatt in the north of the island and thought is was beautiful and supberb service. The food in the restaurants was great too. teh pool at the Hyatt is "to diefor" my new husaband had to drag me out oif it

I also went to the HIlton sevrel time even though we did not stay there. I saw a couple of the rooms and it also is a wonderfiul resort. It has the advantage of the stunning Piton mountain peaks on either side rising above it. WOW! what a view. The deluxe cottages to have plunge pools but you don't have to use them if you don't want too. If you stay tere request room 904 as it has the best views in my opinion and the best plunge pool.

PS I hope to have pictures fo both the Hyatt and Hilton on my web iste by the 15th. There are soem pirctures there now so e-mail me if you would like my web address to look at them.
