Too windy in Aruba?
Hi! My fiance' and I are thinking about going to Aruba for our honeymoon in October. I am concerned that it will be too windy to enjoy being on the beach. We do not want to have to fight off sand flying all over the place. ?????????
Anyone been in October???????

Lisa

We just returned from a week in Aruba. Yes, there is a wind blowing all the time, but it was usually more of a breeze - never enough to kick up the sand. It was actually lovely, because the breeze allowed you to stay out on the beach from morning till night without feeling like you were baking. It was just strange to get used to the sound of it at night, because I associate that sound with cold winters!

Just returned from Aruba a few days ago - my third and not last trip! I've found that the wind at Palm Beach is less tha non Eagle Beach. I had no problem with flying sand on Palm Beach, the water is cal and warm there as well. As you'll discover, once you are use to the wind it really is a blessing because without it, it's too hot to stay in the sun!
Enjoy!
