The best hotel for couples

In the middle of October my husband and I would like spend 5 days in a romantic hotel in the Carribbean. Any suggestions?

Your question is a little vague. Where are you coming from? Do you have a big budget? If you are traveling from a major east coast city, your travel time will be much less since you have a short trip.
Romantic and easy to get to would be Bermuda for me. I would choose the Reefs club. It is small, intimate hotel with nice grounds, pool and private beach. The hotel usually has a meal plan including breakfast and dinner and afternoon tea.

I recommend the Halfmoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It's a large resort, but becomes intimate. As I've said many times on this site, it's my favorite destination. In October, the service should be wonderful, but mind you, the weather can be rainy during this month. Wishing you a wonderful trip, whatever your destination.

Most romantic place we have ever stayed in the Caribbean is Cap Juluca on Anguilla. Lovely accomodations and ambiance, beautiful white sand beach, great service and excellent food at the resort and local restaurants.

There's no one "best hotel" for couples and there are literally hundreds of "romantic" places in the Caribbean. Truth be told you can find one or more "romantic resorts" on just about every island. As girlonthego says, what is "best" for you depends on your budget, your likes and dislikes, the amount of time you want to spend getting to/from your intended destination. If you only have 5 days (including travel days) you want to visit a destination that you can get to relatively quickly. For instance, the aforementioned Cap Jaluca is indeed a lovely spot but depending on where you live it takes a very long full day of travel just to get there.

Give us more information (the more you tell us the easier it is) and you'll get more meaningful responses.
